Patricia Apollonia Kotero, an American actor and singer, has been a model for a while. Most famously, she is known for her role in Prince's 1984 film Purple Rain as well as being the lead vocalist of Apollonia 6, a girl group. In the 80s, the actor-singer Prince was christened Apollonia became just one of many female artists that gained by their connection with him. The singer appeared in several small film projects during this time, but reportedly declined to be in the Purple Rain sequel Under the Cherry Moon. Between 1985 and 1986, she was offered a role on the show called Falcon Crest. Apollonia was her first public appearance in 1988. But the R&B/dance album that was pretty pedestrian and didn't make a big impression with those who bought music at the period, was quickly wiped out. Through the years, she remained an active actress with minor film roles and a few TV series. In 1997 Apollonia made a record in English and Spanish entitled Stay with me. She returned to the school and received a degree in making films. After that, she started her own firm and began working in children's TV. Apollonia is a multi-talented woman. She has been an actor, singer and model. Purple Rain, the 1984 film that she was in, is her most recognizable performance. Apart from Purple Rain, she's played in other television and movies such as Black Magic Woman or The Divorce Ceremony. Kotero debuted her career as a model. She participated in several pageants. Kotero has won Miss San Pedro Beauty Pageant. She began her career in the late 1980s. Apollonia Kotero is an American actress model singer and talent manager.
